Insert a table

I need a two-column, four-row table on slide 3 that compares curriculum standards with our lesson objectives. Put Standards in the left column and Objectives in the right. Use the school font Calibri 11, row heights even, and align text top-left. Before I send it to Sarah in department review on Friday, check the header row is bold and that cells don’t overflow the slide.

Before I drop a table into the unit plan slide, make it quick to scan: surface the learning standard codes in the left column, put the measurable objective phrased as a student activity in the right, bold any verbs like identify or explain, and highlight rows where the objective doesn’t map to a standard. Point out anything that will make a reviewer hesitate.

I added a two-by-four table to slide 3 and pasted a list of standards and objectives, but the text runs together and one row overflows the slide. Sarah in department review will expect readable mapping and Tuesday’s meeting is fixed. Tell me the most likely cause and the simplest fix so I can deliver a clean slide in an hour.

Every term I rebuild curriculum-to-objective tables slide by slide and spend hours fixing alignment, fonts and overflow. I lose time and credibility with Sarah because the first draft always looks sloppy.
