Set slide size and orientation

I need the deck to print as 11x17 handouts for a client workshop next Tuesday. Change the slide setup so every slide is landscape 11 inches by 17 inches and keep the current content scale so nothing cuts off. Save a copy as Workshop_11x17.pptx and tell me if any images or charts will stretch or move.

Before I send this to the designer, make it easy for reviewers to check layout issues on large format prints: show which slides have content within 0.5 inches of the edge, list any images that aren’t embedded at print resolution, and flag slides with mixed orientation. Produce a short summary I can paste into an email to explain what I changed.

I set the master to 11 by 17 but some slides look cropped and charts misaligned. The client expects a clean print run and the design lead is on vacation. I’m worried about subtle layout shifts and don’t know which slides will need manual adjustment. Which slides are most likely to break when changing to 11x17, what specific elements should I check first, and what’s the fastest safe order to fix them?

Over the last six projects we spend hours reconciling slide sizes at the last minute and shipping late. I want a habit that prevents this scramble. Recommend a concrete routine and two file-naming or template conventions that would stop size mismatch errors, reduce rework, and make handoff to the designer predictable.
