Pin an important chat

My leadership team needs one chat always visible. Pin the chat titled Leadership-Weekly with Priya Rao, Carlos Mendes and Elena Kim so it appears at the top of my chat list; confirm the pin succeeded and that notifications remain enabled for mentions; do this during the 9–11 a.m. maintenance window.

Before I pin this Leadership-Weekly chat, make approval fast for the execs scanning the list: move the meeting notes link and the three action items to the first message, label the chat as Leadership-Weekly in bold, and call out the week’s top decision so a reviewer can approve the pin without hunting.

I just tried to pin the Leadership-Weekly chat with Priya Rao, Carlos Mendes and Elena Kim and they kept missing messages. I’m worried the pin won’t change who reads it and I can’t tell if notifications are off for anyone. What’s the most likely reason users still miss the chat, and what should I do next to make sure Priya and Carlos actually see important messages?

On several projects I pin chats and people still miss urgent updates; we lose time chasing confirmations. Where are we wasting effort — is it how we structure the pinned message, notifications, or user habits — and what single habit should I change so pinned chats actually get read by managers?
