Insert and edit shapes

I need visuals for the client slide deck. In the document Sales Presentation June 2026, insert a rectangle shape behind each section heading to serve as a banner, set fill color to brand blue RGB 0,92,185, remove outline, and size each to span the page width with 0.5 inch vertical padding. Name each shape to match its heading text. Save and make a copy named Sales Presentation June 2026 – shapes.docx.

Before I send this to design, make the shapes consistent and review-ready: align all section banner shapes to the same vertical offset, ensure corner radii match the design system, convert any manually drawn arrows into standard arrow shapes so they scale cleanly, and flag any shape that overlaps body text. Keep fonts and spacing intact.

I dragged a rectangle banner to resize and several paragraph blocks jumped position on the page; I did not anchor shapes deliberately. I worry the deck will break for the client when they open it on a different machine. How should I check and set anchors and wrapping quickly so the layout stays stable across systems?

Across our proposals I spend hours normalizing banners, arrows, and icons because colleagues create shapes differently and break layouts. Where should I standardize process or set a habit so future decks come in consistent and need minimal manual cleanup?
