Set up multi-currency receiving

I need to receive payments in euros and US dollars into the same account. Set up multi-currency receiving so invoices from EU clients land as euros and US clients as dollars, route payouts to my existing business bank, and notify me when balances convert — confirm the receiving currencies and the bank routing are correctly linked first.

Before I tell clients to pay in their local currency, make the receiving setup easier to approve — show which currencies I can accept automatically, surface where I will be billed conversion fees, highlight which bank accounts will accept each currency, and call out any steps that would make an accounts-payable reviewer hesitate to pay in the foreign currency.

I just enabled euros for receiving but an EU client’s invoice still shows USD. I don’t know whether the issue is invoice settings, client-side choice, or my receiving preferences. Diagnose the most likely cause and give the single next setting to change so incoming EU payments arrive as euros.

Over several months I keep receiving foreign payments that are auto-converted to dollars before I move them, costing conversion fees. Where does the workflow break — in account settings, client invoice templates, or bank routing — and what one habitual change will keep incoming payments in the original currency unless I choose to convert?
