Create sprint board

I need a sprint board created for this two-week sprint starting Monday with columns: Backlog, Ready for Sprint, In Progress, In Review, Blocked, Done. Add the team members as board members, set WIP limit 4 on In Progress, and create labels: bug, feature, chore, hotfix. Create a sprint card titled Sprint 2026-07-20 containing the sprint goal, start and end dates, and assign it to Priya. Share the board link with the team by Monday morning.

Before I create the sprint board, make it easy for the team to start work: put the sprint goal and acceptance criteria in the Sprint 2026-07-20 card, add a checklist template for daily standup updates, and make the Ready for Sprint list the only place product can pull cards from. Highlight anything that will make a reviewer hesitate, like unclear acceptance criteria or missing estimates.

I cloned the sprint template and the team’s sprint starts Monday, but the cards came over without story points and have no assignees. I’m afraid engineers will start work on unestimated tasks and we’ll miss velocity. I don’t know whether to mass-edit cards, ask everyone to update their own, or roll back to the template. What’s the least disruptive next step to get estimates and owners assigned before the standup?

Every sprint I spend two days adding labels, WIP limits, checklists and the sprint card; that’s time lost and errors creep in. Which three setup habits should I standardize or automate so sprint boards are ready in under two hours, who should own maintaining the template, and what small governance will stop people customizing away the standards?
