Collect data through surveys

I have 1,200 survey responses from field officers on crop yields and pesticide use; collate them into one clean table and mark any duplicates or impossible values before I analyze season trends.

Before I hand this to the agronomists, make the dataset easy to trust: show response rate and missingness at the top, flag records with out-of-range pesticide doses, and create a small pivot that groups responses by district and farm size so they can spot odd clusters quickly.

I combined the three regional CSVs and the grand totals are 18% higher than last week’s audit; I fear overlapping respondent IDs or double-entry from mobile and paper forms. I don’t know where duplicates live or whether the extra counts are concentrated in one region. What’s the fastest check to locate and resolve duplicate respondents and reconcile the totals with minimal risk of deleting valid data?

Every month I reconsolidate survey exports from county officers and spend hours hunting missing fields and duplicates. Where am I wasting time and what one habit should I change so future imports are clean and reconciliation takes minutes, not half a day?
