I’m writing the script and handout for a four-hour guided hike of the coastal cliffs for a small group on Saturday morning. Draft the tour script that describes five points of interest in order, each with a 90–120 second description that mixes natural history and a memorable anecdote, plus a one-page map with stop names and estimated times. Include a short safety briefing and recommended clothing. Send to the tour lead, Ahmed, and ask for edits by Thursday evening.

Before I give this to Ahmed, make the guide easier for a substitute to use: put the main takeaway for each stop in bold at the top, make the timing and distance between stops easy to scan, flag any anecdotes that could upset local residents or contain questionable facts, and note where to pause for photos.

I drafted a colorful story about a shipwreck that locals find sensitive; Ahmed messaged that some families still regard it as a trauma. I’m torn between dropping a strong hook that engages tourists and respecting the community. I don’t know how representative Ahmed’s concern is or what risks a tourist-friendly rewrite carries. What is the likely social risk and what should I do to keep the tour engaging but respectful?
