This Privacy Policy explains how LLOS.ai ("LLOS", "we", "us", "our") handles information when you use our websites, dictionary, learning labs, games, and icon & SVG libraries (together, the "Services"). LLOS.ai is the evolution of BeyondDictionary — what began as a dictionary has grown into a lifelong learning system many times its scale, spanning language, education, career, life, and meaning for learners from age 3 to 93.

Because the Services are built for people of every age — including young children learning to read — our guiding principle is restraint: we collect as little as possible, keep it only as long as we need it, and explain in plain words what we do with it. This Policy tells you exactly that.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

Account details when you choose to register (such as a name or email address).
Content you create or submit — saved words, notes, quiz answers, slogans, generated icons, and similar work.
Messages you send us for support or feedback.

Information collected automatically

A local identifier. Your browser is assigned a random anonymous ID (a 32-character value stored in your browser's local storage) so your saved work and progress persist between visits. It is not linked to your real-world identity unless you create an account.
Usage data — pages viewed, features used, and general interaction patterns that help us improve the Services.
Device and log data — browser type, approximate region, and technical logs sent automatically by your browser.

2. How we use information

To provide the Services and remember your progress and saved work.
To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our dictionary, learning content, and icon tools.
To understand which features are useful so we can build better ones.
To respond to your questions and provide support.
To detect, prevent, and address abuse, fraud, or technical problems.

3. Cookies & local storage

We use browser local storage and, where applicable, cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and store the anonymous local identifier described above. You can clear these at any time through your browser settings; doing so will reset locally saved progress on that device.

4. Children's privacy

Parts of the Services are designed for young learners. We do not knowingly ask children for more personal information than is needed to use a learning activity, and we do not sell children's data. Where a child is below the age of digital consent in their country, a parent, guardian, or school should set up and supervise use of any account. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate consent, contact us and we will delete it.

5. Third-party services

The Services load some resources from trusted third parties — for example content-delivery networks, web-font providers, and (where enabled) analytics. These providers may receive standard technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver their resource. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers.

6. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only: with service providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations; when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Services; or as part of a business transfer, in which case we will note it here.

7. Data retention & security

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate legal, security, and operational purposes, then delete or anonymise it. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect data, though no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You can also clear locally stored data yourself at any time through your browser.

9. International users

We may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where we transfer data internationally, we take steps to protect it consistent with this Policy and applicable law.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
