Relink offline media

Several clips on the timeline show as offline. Relink the offline media to their correct master files on drive F, starting with the interview folder 'ClientX_2026-06-01'. Keep original timecodes and handles, and report any files that cannot be found so I can chase them before tonight's review.

Before I send this to the client, make relinking straightforward: surface a list of offline clips with their expected original file names and paths, highlight duplicates or multiple candidates, show which sequences reference each missing file, and flag any relinks that would change in/out points or timecode.

I reopened the feature project and dozens of media items show as offline; I think the external drive was renamed during my trip. The editor on sound is waiting and the executive wants to review Act Two this afternoon. I don't know if the originals were moved, renamed, or partially copied. What's the fastest sequence of checks to locate and relink these clips without corrupting cuts or creating duplicate media in the project?

On nearly every collaboration the same problem repeats: someone renames or reconnects drives and we end up with offline media and duplicate imports. It wastes hours. What team habit, naming convention, or project setting would most reduce relink pain?
