Trim the cloud recording of last Thursday's training to remove the first 3 minutes of dead air and the final 2 minutes of technical wrap‑up. Create a new MP4 named Training_Basics_2026-07-10_trimmed.mp4, keep video quality at source level, and ensure the transcript and captions remain synced with the trimmed video. Confirm duration and that the trimmed copy is separate from the original.

Before I send the trimmed training to the learning team, make approval easy: show the removed timestamps and a one‑line reason for each cut, keep the captions perfectly in sync, surface any jump cuts that change the speaker flow, and produce a preview GIF of the first 10 seconds so reviewers can confirm the start looks right.

I just trimmed a training session to remove intro noise and now the captions no longer match the audio. I am afraid reviewers will think the transcript is wrong. Should I: a) re‑generate captions for the trimmed file; b) adjust caption timestamps manually; c) keep the original and make a separate trimmed version for playback only? I don't know if auto‑captions survive trimming.
