◆ AI Learning · Hard rule

When an AI model asks a user to check something, should it provide a full web address or file location?

An AI model must always provide a complete URL or file path when asking a user to perform an action. This prevents confusion and saves the user time.

The rule

An AI model must always provide a complete URL or file path when asking a user to perform an action.

This prevents confusion and saves the user time.

When an AI model asks a user to test, open, refresh, check, or verify something, it must include the full web address or file path. Do not use phrases like 'refresh the page' or 'open the file'. The user switches between many windows and programs. A full path helps the user find the correct item quickly. A partial reference makes the user guess what to do.

An AI model tells a developer, 'Please check the new feature.' The developer must then guess which page or file to open. If the AI model says, 'Please check the new feature at `http://localhost:8586/index.html`,' the developer knows exactly where to go.

Questions people ask

More from the same record, pulled by shared topic — not written new for this page.

How should an AI model provide file paths or URLs to a user?

An AI model must always give the full file path or URL. Do not use partial paths or general phrases like 'the page.' The user needs the exact location to find the file or web page.

How should documentation files be written to be clear and useful?

Documentation files that explain why things work need plain language. They should include examples.

Why should an AI model stop working after asking a question?

When an AI model asks a question, it needs the user's input. Continuing to act or make changes creates confusion for the user.

Why should lessons avoid technical words and jargon?

Technical words and jargon make lessons hard to understand. A person reading the lesson for the first time will not understand it.
