The rule

An AI model selects mentor text based on a user's skill, interests, and current learning topic.

The AI model adjusts text difficulty based on the user's mood. All mentor texts are authentic and not artificially created.

The AI model finds mentor texts from a large collection of sentences. It filters these sentences using the user's skill level, like their age range. The AI model also considers the user's interests and the specific topic they are studying. The AI model checks the user's mood. If the user feels sharp, the text difficulty stays normal. If the user feels slow, the AI model chooses easier text. The length of the text changes with the user's skill. Beginner texts are shorter, while advanced texts are longer. All texts are real examples, either original or from public sources. The AI model never creates artificial texts.

A student is learning about space and feels a bit tired. The AI model checks the student's age and interest in space. It then selects a slightly easier, authentic sentence about planets from its collection. The sentence is a suitable length for the student's skill level.

Questions people ask

More from the same record, pulled by shared topic — not written new for this page.

How should an AI model respond when a user's answer is almost correct but not quite right?

An AI model should first acknowledge the user's reasoning. This shows the AI model understands the user's thought process.

How should an AI model create connections between words, especially for phrasal verbs?

An AI model must generate word connections. The connections should be meaningful.

How should text-to-speech (TTS) work with on-screen text?

When an AI model uses text-to-speech, the text that is currently being spoken must highlight. This allows the user to listen and read at the same time.

How should an AI model use a pre-assessment to help a user learn?

A pre-assessment should be short, about 30-60 seconds. It should happen once per chapter of learning material.
