An AI model should create breaks in content only at natural divisions.
Breaks should not happen at fixed intervals like every five questions. This improves the user's experience and keeps the content flowing smoothly.
An AI model should place breaks where content naturally divides. These natural divisions are called 'tier seams'. A tier seam is a point where one topic ends and another begins. The AI model should not break content after a set number of questions. This can interrupt the user's focus. Breaking content at natural seams helps the user stay immersed.
A student is using an AI model to learn about history. The AI model is explaining a complex historical event in several steps. If the AI model adds a break every five questions, it might split one step into two parts. This makes it harder for the student to understand the event. If the AI model waits for the end of a step to add a break, the student learns more easily.
