A template extraction algorithm finds sentence structures.
The algorithm uses rules about word types. It does not try to understand the meaning of the words.
The template extraction algorithm works with word types. It identifies words that split sentences or connect parts. It also finds words that can be inside a blank space. The algorithm then creates blanks for the main content words. This process focuses on the sentence's structure. It does not use the AI model's understanding of the text's meaning.
A developer uses the algorithm on the sentence, 'Music is the shorthand of emotion.' The algorithm identifies 'is' as a splitter. It finds 'Music', 'shorthand', and 'emotion' as content words. The result is the template: '___ is the ___.' The AI model does not need to know what music or emotion means.

The AI model first breaks text into small pieces. It classifies these pieces.
The AI model uses a special format called `sentence_splitter`. This format helps the AI model find missing sentence endings.
An AI model must generate word connections. The connections should be meaningful.
Case-insensitive matching fixes only one type of duplicate. It finds 'Coffee' and 'coffee' as the same.
