An AI model should check each part of its output. For example, if there is a list of key phrases, the AI model must confirm each phrase is in the main text. The AI model must do the same for other data, like feeling snippets. This check happens before the AI model sends out the final data.
A developer asks an AI model to extract important phrases from a document. The AI model creates a list of these phrases in a JSON file. Before sending the file, the AI model checks if every phrase in the list is also in the original document. If a phrase is missing, the AI model corrects it. If the AI model does not check, the program using this data will fail.

After any content generation or build, the AI model must check the output. This check goes beyond just seeing if the script finished.
A developer must estimate the token count of the AI model's output before making an API call. If the estimated output is more than 6000 tokens, the developer should split the request.
A developer must look for direct text changes. A developer must also look for code that creates file names or paths from parts.
The AI model must have clear rules for what is acceptable. These rules are called 'quality gates.' If an output does not pass these gates, it is rejected.
