A certificate must always show a name.
If a user has not provided a name, a warm, generic placeholder name must be used. Never leave the name field blank, and never auto-generate a name like 'User_12345'.
An AI model must always display a name on a certificate. Before a user logs in, the certificate shows a placeholder name like 'Dedicated Wordsmith'. This placeholder is stored locally on the user's device. After a user logs in, the AI model uses the name from the login system. This real name replaces the placeholder. Certificates downloaded before login will keep the placeholder name. If a user changes their name, new certificates will show the updated name. Previously downloaded certificates will not change. The AI model must never leave the name field blank. It must also not create names like 'User_12345'.
A student earns a certificate. The student has not yet logged in or set a name. The AI model displays 'Dedicated Wordsmith' on the certificate. Later, the student logs in. The AI model updates the certificate to show the student's real name from their profile.
