The rule

An AI model uses a specific algorithm for text processing.

This algorithm focuses on text structure, not meaning. The AI model extracts content blocks and creates blanks based on these blocks.

The AI model first breaks text into small pieces. It classifies these pieces. Some pieces are splitters, like 'is' or 'and'. Other pieces are 'inside-stops', like 'a' or 'the'. The remaining pieces are content words. The AI model then finds groups of content words. These groups become the blanks in the exercise. The AI model limits the number of blanks. It merges similar groups if there are too many blanks. The AI model does not try to understand the text's meaning. It only works with the text's structure.

A teacher wants to create a fill-in-the-blank exercise. The teacher provides a sentence to the AI model. The AI model identifies content words and creates blanks. It replaces 'The quick brown fox' with a blank. It does not try to understand what a 'quick brown fox' means. The AI model focuses on the sentence's structure to make the blank.

How can an AI model create sentence templates without understanding the text?

The template extraction algorithm works with word types. It identifies words that split sentences or connect parts.

How can an AI model learn to split sentences correctly?

The AI model uses a special format called `sentence_splitter`. This format helps the AI model find missing sentence endings.

How should an AI model create connections between words, especially for phrasal verbs?

An AI model must generate word connections. The connections should be meaningful.

Why does an AI model still create near-duplicate text even after case-insensitive matching is applied?

Case-insensitive matching fixes only one type of duplicate. It finds 'Coffee' and 'coffee' as the same.
