The rule

A user must understand core actions before starting a task.

Visual demonstrations using actual interface elements are more effective than text-only instructions.

An AI model should show a user how to perform key actions. This demonstration must happen before the user can begin. The AI model should use the actual parts of the interface for the demonstration. This helps the user learn visually. Text instructions alone are not as clear.

A new user opens a game. The game shows a short animation. This animation demonstrates how to 'add' a piece, 'remove' a piece, and 'replace' a piece. The animation uses the exact game pieces the user will play with. The user cannot start the game until they watch this short lesson. This ensures the user understands basic controls.

How should a developer design a settings pane for an application?

A settings pane should open from a clear button, like a gear icon. The pane should show different groups of settings.

How can a developer ensure a user interface panel keeps a constant height and does not shift or 'dance'?

A developer must define a fixed total height for the main container. Every element inside this container needs a fixed slot.

How should an AI model handle error messages?

An AI model must have a plan for error messages. The plan should define different types of errors.

How can an AI model ask for permissions without surprising the user?

Unexpected requests for microphone or location access can stop a user from continuing. A user might feel worried or say no to the request.
