An AI model's output should have clear breaks between different sections.
These breaks help the user understand the structure. The breaks should not interrupt important parts of the content.
The AI model should use breaks to separate different levels of content. These breaks should not appear inside special content types like 'puzzle chains' or 'chat tutors'. A test with 60 questions might have four breaks, one at each major content change. Visible banners can show the user their progress. For example, a banner like 'Round 1 of 5 · Warm-up' can appear briefly. This banner tells the user they are starting a new section. Another option is to have a small banner always visible at the bottom of the screen.
A student is using an AI model to learn a new language. The AI model presents a series of lessons. The AI model shows a banner 'Lesson 3 of 10 · Vocabulary Practice' for a few seconds. This helps the student know where they are in the course. The AI model does not put a break in the middle of a vocabulary quiz. This prevents the student from being confused.
