Sending many API requests at the exact same moment can overload a server. This is called a 'thundering herd.' The server may then send back an error code, like '429 Too Many Requests.' A developer should add a small pause, such as 250 milliseconds, between each API call. This spreads out the requests over time. It helps the server handle all the requests without problems.
A developer writes code to update 100 user profiles through an API. If the code sends all 100 requests at the same instant, the server gets overloaded. The server might reject most of the requests. If the developer adds a 250-millisecond delay between each request, the server receives requests one by one. All 100 profiles update successfully.

An AI model must always read a specific set of files. These files include 'mistakes_and_lessons.md'.
A developer must read specific API policy files before writing any code that makes external API calls. This prevents common mistakes.
A developer must estimate the token count of the AI model's output before making an API call. If the estimated output is more than 6000 tokens, the developer should split the request.
A developer must look for direct text changes. A developer must also look for code that creates file names or paths from parts.
