What are the key design principles for a system that manages AI models?

A good system for managing AI models should be non-invasive. It must not require big changes to existing computer systems. The system should also be crash-resilient, meaning if it fails, other parts of the system still work.

The rule

A good system for managing AI models should be non-invasive.

It must not require big changes to existing computer systems. The system should also be crash-resilient, meaning if it fails, other parts of the system still work.

A good management system does not change existing servers much. It only adds a small check-up point. This makes it easy to add to current setups. The system can fail without stopping other servers. This means one part breaking does not break everything. It keeps the whole system stable. The system works well on Windows computers. It uses common Windows tools to start programs. This makes it familiar for Windows users. Every action shows a preview first. For example, it will say 'about to kill PID 48072'. This lets the user check before anything happens. All actions are saved in a log file. This file records everything the system does. It helps to understand what happened if there is a problem.

A developer wants to manage many AI models on different servers. The developer chooses a management system. This system only needs a small update on each server. If the management system stops working, the AI models keep running. Before the system stops an AI model, it shows a message. This message tells the developer what will happen. All these actions are saved in a log file for review.

How can an AI system manage API calls to prevent errors and control costs?

An AI system should use a 5-layer coordinator for API calls. This includes a kill switch, rate limits, and concurrency controls.

How does a complete design specification help in building a new system?

A complete design specification provides all necessary details. It lists changes to the user interface.

How should a developer document a new AI feature?

A developer should create a design document. This document describes the feature's architecture.

What safety features are needed to prevent a batch script from running a large, expensive campaign without approval?

A batch script needs a safety gate. This gate must calculate the total number of actions.
