A developer must know the exact file location for server code.
Running the wrong file means changes to the code will not work. Server keys are passed through environment variables.
The main AI server runs from 'python-server\aphorist_server.py'. A special batch file named 'start_aphorist.bat' starts this server. Any changes to the server code must be made in this file. Another file, 'tools\english\aphorist_server.py', looks similar. However, no batch file starts this server. Changes made to this file will not affect the running system. Server keys are important for security and function. These keys are found in 'llos\env.js'. The system uses these keys as environment variables. A separate server for viewing slogans runs from 'slogan_viewer\api_server.py'. This server has a different purpose and file location.
A developer makes a change to 'tools\english\aphorist_server.py'. The developer restarts the system. The change does not appear. The developer realizes the correct file is 'python-server\aphorist_server.py'. The developer moves the change to the correct file, and the system now works as expected.

A developer can follow a plan to reduce server RAM. The plan has three levels.
A developer edits a file. The developer then needs to check if the server is actually using that new file.
A local server should use a special tool called `ThreadingMixIn`. This tool allows the server to do many things at once.
An AI model uses a special structure to save conversation data. This structure is an array called `window.BOLCHAAL_DB[]`.
