What is a Mobile Repair Technician?
Mobile Repair Technicians diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a variety of physical systems and equipment on-site, often in the field or at customer locations. They ensure that machinery, vehicles, or scientific instruments function correctly by performing maintenance, replacing parts, and making adjustments.
Most days focus on diagnosing damaged windows, removing broken glass, cleaning and priming pinchwelds, and selecting correct replacement parts and safety gear. You apply and dress urethane beads, install glass, and allow adhesives to cure with attention to temperature and humidity. Between jobs you inspect stock glass, replace moldings or clips, and check motorized window mechanisms — routine prep and drying prevent most future failures.
