Group and hide rows or columns

I need to collapse detailed rows so managers see only the weekly summaries, but still allow expansion for audit. Group and hide the daily rows under each week in the 'Operations' sheet, keep week headers visible, and ensure that printing shows only the summaries by default. Do this for the range where Date is in column A and Activity is in B, with daily detail rows below each weekly header.

Before I share the sheet with the VP, make the grouped view obvious and safe. Add a visual cue that rows are grouped, document which columns are hidden when collapsed, and flag any rows that contain notes or comments so a reviewer knows collapsing could hide important context. Suggest how to prevent accidental edits to the hidden rows.

I grouped daily rows under week headers to hide noisy details, but Nadia in support expanded a group, edited a hidden note, and now the weekly summary is missing context. I can't tell who did it from the sheet. What's the most likely way to prevent accidental edits while preserving quick expand/collapse for audits, and what immediate step should I take so the missing note can be recovered?

Grouping and hiding rows works but every data import or teammate who cleans the sheet removes the groups, so I reapply them each week. Where do we keep losing that time and authority, and what habit plus sheet-structure change will stop collaborators from breaking groups while keeping the ability to expand for audits?
