Format slide fonts

I have a set of client status slides due Monday. Make all slide body text use a single sans-serif font at 18pt, headings at 28pt bold, and caption text at 12pt. Ensure line spacing is even, no manual kerning left, and that nothing reflows off the slide. Do not change content or colors.

Before I hand the deck to the partner for review, make the typography easier to scan: standardise headings and body to consistent sizes, increase contrast for low-visibility text, shorten any headings longer than eight words into a single-line title, and mark slides where text will shrink below 16pt on export so I can rewrite instead of compressing.

I exported the deck for client distribution and one slide's body text became tiny and unreadable. The client blamed us. I tell the engagement manager this is on me. I don't know whether the problem is inconsistent master slides, manual font scaling, or an embedded element. What's the most likely cause and the quickest steps to stop this happening before export?

Every project we scramble the night before export to rescue slides where fonts collapse or overflow. It eats hours and looks amateur in the handoff. What repeatable review or small template discipline should I institute so slides export reliably without last-minute manual scaling?
