Prepare class notes

I need the week's class notes ready for students by Sunday evening. Pull lecture slides, my annotated reading notes, and the whiteboard photos from Thursday, then assemble a single page that reads on phones: lead with the three takeaways, embed the slide deck, paste the photos after each topic, and add a short quiz of five recall questions at the bottom. Check every link and publish with Monday’s assignment visible.

Before I share these class notes with the cohort, make them impossible to skim past the core ideas. Put the three main takeaways at the top, surface the one suggested reading that explains the hardest concept, make timestamps or slide numbers findable next to each photo, and flag any statement that lacks a citation or that might make a student email me a question.

I just noticed the whiteboard photos for Thursday are a messy duplicate of last week and students are already messaging. Priya in student services and the TA Tom copied them into the notes. I’m afraid sending the wrong images will confuse everyone and cost class time tomorrow. Should I pull the page down and replace the photos now, or correct it with an inline note and an updated photo sent by 8am tomorrow? Which causes less friction and how do I tell Tom and Priya without sounding curt?

Every week I spend two to three extra hours after class reformatting notes, hunting for images, and answering students’ clarifying emails. It costs prep time and drains energy for the next lecture.
