Connect board to Slack

Before I connect the board to #dev-ops, surface what the channel needs to act without noise: show card title, who created it, and the link up front; hide checklist updates unless flagged; batch easy updates. Flag anything that will create duplicate alerts for people who already watch cards. Make the connection settings recommended for a team of eight developers who want only actionable alerts.

I just enabled the board connection and Slack is posting the same card creation twice to #dev-ops. I’m worried this will spam the team and they’ll mute the channel. I can’t tell if the integration or a webhook is firing twice. Which is the most likely cause and what’s the quickest safe check to stop the duplicates without removing all notifications?

We repeatedly get noisy channel alerts that lead to people muting #dev-ops. Over months this costs follow-ups and missed issues. What simple notification habits or default settings should I change so Slack shows only action-worthy card events, who should be allowed to change those settings, and how do we enforce that on future boards?
