Invite members to board

Invite Maya, Luis, and the new contractor Tom to the Design board as members with normal access, add them to the Designers team, and send a note that they must accept the invite by Wednesday so they can be assigned tasks for the Friday review meeting.

Before I invite new members to this board, make onboarding frictionless: surface what permissions they need, list initial cards they should watch, and warn if any custom fields or power-ups will be restricted to guests so the reviewer knows what could trip a new invitee up.

I sent Tom an invite to the Design board and he accepted, but now he reports he cannot see the Confidential list. I don’t know whether his account role or a permissions setting is blocking it. What’s the likely cause and the fastest fix so he can see the lists he needs for the Friday review without exposing anything he shouldn’t?

Over several projects we waste time toggling access and re-inviting people because we don’t standardize member roles and what guests can see. What single change to our invite and role routine will cut back-and-forth and get new members productive within one business day?
