बाघ आया उस रात

यह कविता उस रात की कहानी बताती है जब जंगल से एक बाघ सोते हुए गाँव के पास आ गया। अँधेरे में उसकी आँखें चमक रही थीं और गाँव के लोग डर गए। पर वे भागने के बजाय साहस के साथ डटे रहे। उन्होंने मशालें जलाईं, खूब शोर मचाया और बहादुरी से बाघ को वापस जंगल में भगा दिया। अगली सुबह इस घटना को याद रखने के लिए लोगों ने अपने घरों की दीवारों पर बाघ का चित्र बनाया। इसी तरह मिथिला की प्रसिद्ध मधुबनी चित्रकला आज भी इस कहानी को जीवित रखे हुए है।

This poem tells about a night when a tiger came near a sleeping village from the jungle. Its eyes shone in the dark and the villagers became frightened. But instead of running away, they showed courage. They lit torches, made loud noise and bravely drove the tiger back into the forest. The next morning, to remember this event, the people painted the tiger on the walls of their houses. This is how the famous Madhubani painting of Mithila keeps the story alive even today.

The central idea is that courage and unity can overcome fear and danger. The villagers did not panic before the tiger; together they bravely chased it away, and they preserved this brave moment through their beautiful folk art.
