खिलौनेवाला

इस कविता में एक खिलौनेवाले का वर्णन है, जो रोज़ सुबह-सवेरे घंटी बजाते हुए गलियों में आता है। उसकी टोकरी तरह-तरह के सुंदर खिलौनों से भरी होती है। उसे देखते ही बच्चे दौड़कर उसके चारों ओर इकट्ठा हो जाते हैं और हर कोई अलग-अलग खिलौना माँगता है। खिलौनेवाला सारा दिन गली-गली और बाज़ारों में घूमता है और थक जाता है, फिर भी वह यह सब खुशी-खुशी सहता है, क्योंकि उसे बच्चों को खुश करना अच्छा लगता है।

This poem describes a toy-seller who comes to the streets early every morning, ringing his bell. He carries a basket full of many kinds of beautiful toys. As soon as the children see him, they run out and gather around him, each asking for a different toy. The toy-seller wanders the whole day through lanes and markets, getting tired, yet he bears it all happily because he loves bringing joy to children.

The poem shows the joy a simple toy-seller brings to children and the hard work he does happily for them.
