Blend two shapes into one new idea.

Pick any two shapes from a hand-rated library of 17,000+ five- and six-star vectors — or bring your own image — and fuse them five different ways. Structure of one, energy of the other; a silhouette wearing another shape's skin; a heart rebuilt out of tiny books. Free, instant, yours.

Three pairings

Blend anything with anything

Every pairing runs through the same seven relationships. Images are first traced into clean vector silhouettes — donated into the blend, never copied as-is.

◆◇

Shape × Shape

Two library shapes fused. The dual-tone grammar gives each shape a dark structure and an amber energy — blending swaps, wraps, and composes those halves into something neither shape was alone.

◆🖼

Shape × Image

Upload or paste an image; it becomes a vector silhouette and blends like any shape — your photo's outline filled with a library shape's art, or a shape crowned with your image's energy.

🖼🖼

Image × Image

Two of your own images, both traced to silhouettes, blended into one mark — one silhouette plays the dark structure, the other glows as the amber accent.

Seven relationships

Every blend is a sentence

A blend isn't a filter — it's a relationship between two shapes. Pick the relationship, and the engine works out placement, size, and motion from each shape's own geometry.

Part-swapStructure of one + energy of the other, seated where the mass isn't.
Hybrid skinOne shape's silhouette becomes a vessel; the other's whole art fills it.
True mixBoth shapes whole, original colors, raw overlay — z-order is the only axis.
ApartA composed scene: both shapes whole, side by side, grounded with soft shadows.
FilledOne silhouette rebuilt as a texture of many small copies of the other.
PathfinderBoolean geometry — unite into one, subtract, keep only the overlap, or exclude it.
MorphA spectrum of in-between shapes — watch one shape become the other, step by step.

Questions

FAQ

What is the SVG Icon Blender?

A browser studio that fuses two vector shapes into one new, meaningful icon. It draws on a hand-rated library of over seventeen thousand five- and six-star shapes and blends them with seven different relationships — part-swap, hybrid skin, true mix, apart, filled, Pathfinder boolean operations, and a Morph spectrum.

What can I blend?

Three pairings work: shape with shape, shape with image, and image with image. An uploaded image is first converted into a clean vector silhouette, then blended like any library shape — it is donated into the blend, never copied as-is.

What are the blend relationships?

Part-swap takes the structure of one shape and the energy of the other. Hybrid skin pours one shape's whole art inside the other's silhouette. True mix overlays both shapes whole, in their original colors. Apart composes both shapes side by side as a scene. Filled rebuilds one silhouette out of many small copies of the other shape. Pathfinder applies boolean geometry — unite, subtract, intersect, or exclude. Morph shows a spectrum of in-between shapes, interpolating one shape into the other step by step.

How does the density filter find shapes?

Every library shape is measured on a three-by-three grid: how much of its mass sits in each of the nine cells, and whether that mass is dark structure or amber energy. Tapping cells on the density pad ranks the library by mass in exactly those cells — tapping the bottom row finds bottom-heavy shapes.

Where do saved blends go?

Saved blends land in the expressive shape library under the SVG Icon Blender category and appear in this page's gallery, tagged with their two parent shapes and the relationship used. Blends that later earn a five- or six-star rating automatically rejoin the blending pool through a daily import.

Can I edit a blend before saving?

Yes. The region editor lists every part of the blend; a part can be deleted, recolored, nudged, resized, or given its own motion from a library of twelve house motions. All edits replay on the server, so the saved file is always rebuilt from the true source.
