Welcome to the cardiovascular lab! Discover how the heart works as a double-pump system to oxygenate your entire body.
In this explorer, we will find 15 circulatory components, including the four heart chambers, the aorta, capillaries, and red/white blood cells. Let's learn their names in English and Hindi.
Feel the heartbeat and let's explore!
The heart pumps oxygen-poor blood from the right atrium and ventricle to the lungs, where carbon dioxide is exchanged for oxygen. Oxygen-rich blood returns to the left atrium and ventricle, which pumps it via the aorta artery to body capillaries. Veins carry deoxygenated blood back via the vena cava.
