Delete unwanted slides

Remove the three appendix slides that are irrelevant to Friday's training session: delete slides 28, 29, and 30 so the deck ends on the Case Study. Confirm the slide numbers and run the slideshow to make sure links and transitions still work after deletion.

Before I strip out extras, delete all slides not directly referenced in the workshop agenda, and flag any deleted slide that contains a referenced dataset or a client quote. Make the workshop deck lean but keep a hidden appendix with any deletions that the facilitators might ask for on the call.

I removed three background slides to shorten the deck and immediately a 'see appendix' link on slide 10 now points nowhere. I am worried the presenter will be left hanging. I cannot easily reconstruct which content I removed. What is the fastest way to restore the necessary appendix content or update the link so the presenter is covered?

When trimming decks to hit tighter time limits I repeatedly delete slides and later need the data back, costing hours to reconstruct. What processes should I adopt so I can aggressively prune for a session but retain recoverable source slides without cluttering the working deck?
