Share a window

I need to share only the design window in the 11:30 review with UX. Join the meeting, choose the design application window titled ‘Homepage_v5 – Sketch’, start sharing that single window so other apps stay private, confirm participants see it, and stop sharing when design feedback ends.

Before I share the design window, reduce reviewer hesitation: surface the exact window name at the top, warn if the window is minimized, give a quick preview to confirm the right document is chosen, and flag if any collaborators have requested remote control so I can accept or deny explicitly.

I clicked Share Window for Homepage_v5 – Sketch and participants sent messages that the screen is blank. I can’t tell if they saw the wrong thing or my minimized app. I’m embarrassed and worried we wasted their time. What’s the fastest corrective action to restore visibility and credibility, and what immediate checks prevent choosing a minimized or wrong window in future reviews?

Across reviews I regularly open the wrong version of a file or a minimized draft when asked to share a window, causing confusion and lost time. Where am I most likely failing — file naming, window management, or preparation — and what three concrete habits or small environment changes (for example a ‘presentation’ workspace, pinned windows, or version naming) will stop this pattern?
