Back up the site

My site has to be backed up before I install the new plugin. Create a complete backup of the live site tonight that includes the database and the wp-content folder, store the archive in the account’s Backups folder with a timestamped filename, and email me a link by 8 a.m. tomorrow so I can verify before the change window.

Before I hand this to the developer, make the backup easy to validate: list the database name and size, confirm wp-content includes uploads/themes/plugins, surface the backup timestamp and checksum at the top, and flag if any large media files might cause a timeout during download.

I started a scheduled full-site backup tonight and the progress stalled at 0% after ten minutes. The host control panel shows low disk space and I can’t tell if the database dump began. I’m worried the backup is incomplete and we’ll be blind for the plugin install tomorrow. Is the most likely cause hosting storage? What immediate checks and the best quick fix so I can still get a usable backup before 8 a.m.?
