Share computer audio

For the candidate’s live task I need the system audio piped to all attendees so they can hear the prototype video. Turn on computer audio sharing for the next 12 minutes, set volume to the room level we used last week, and confirm attendees can hear without me unmuting my mic.

Before playing the client video, surface whether computer audio sharing is enabled and where attendees control playback volume. Flag any attendees on mobile who might not hear system audio and recommend the cleanest sequence to start the clip so there’s no echo between my mic and the system audio.

I turned on share computer audio to play a demo and people are reporting echo and doubled sound. I’m worried the recording captured that too. Which settings or local audio sources usually cause this, how do I stop the echo live without killing the video playback, and what should I do about the recording already started?

In our webinars we repeatedly get complaints: playback is too quiet for some, echo for others, and I waste time fiddling with audio mid-call. What consistent pre-meeting checklist or audio routing habit will baseline playback volumes and prevent echo when using both mic and shared computer audio?
