मिर्च का मज़ा

एक आदमी हरी मिर्च खाता है। मिर्च बहुत तीखी होती है, इसलिए उसका मुँह जलने लगता है और आँखों में पानी आ जाता है। फिर भी वह मिर्च खाता रहता है। जब लोग पूछते हैं कि वह क्यों रो रहा है, तो वह हँसी-मज़ाक में कहता है कि मिर्च में बड़ा मज़ा है। कविता मज़ेदार ढंग से यह सिखाती है कि कभी-कभी हम ज़िद में कोई काम तब भी करते रहते हैं जब वह हमें परेशान करता है।

A man eats a green chilli. It is very hot, so his mouth burns and tears come to his eyes. Even so, he keeps eating it. When people ask why he is crying, he funnily says the chilli is full of 'maza' (fun/taste). The poem teaches in a playful way that sometimes we keep doing a thing out of stubbornness even when it troubles us.

The poem humorously shows a man who keeps eating a hot chilli even though it burns his mouth and brings tears, claiming he is enjoying it.
