- One-year LL.M admission at the participating National Law Universities. Several public-sector undertakings have used CLAT-PG scores for legal officer recruitment.
- Who can sit
- An LL.B degree (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks (45% for SC, ST and PwD). Final-year LL.B students may apply but must show the pass result at admission. No upper age limit.
- Pattern
- 2 hours, 120 objective questions of 1 mark each with 0.25 deducted per wrong answer. Passages are extracts from court judgments, statutes and regulations, drawn from core LL.B subjects: Constitutional Law, Jurisprudence, Administrative Law, Contract, Torts, Family Law, Criminal Law, Property Law, Company Law, Public International Law, Tax, Environmental and Labour Law. There is no descriptive section.

- Limits
- No upper age limit and no attempt limit set by the Consortium.
