Your Class 11 stream decides which entrance exams you can sit in two years' time. PCM keeps engineering open, PCB keeps medicine open, and Humanities is not the 'leftover' stream — law, design, civil services and psychology all welcome it.

Straight to a skill

A three-year polytechnic diploma can take you into the second year of B.Tech (lateral entry). It is a head start, not a dead end.

The year, month by month

1. Class 10 (Oct–Jan)try the Stream Explorer, talk to seniors, check which streams your school actually offers.
