Know this. ITEP is a four-year route to a B.Ed that saves a year over the usual three-year degree plus two-year B.Ed, but it locks you into teaching from Class 12 onward, so be sure before choosing it.

- Admits you to
- The four-year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP: B.A. B.Ed, B.Sc. B.Ed, B.Com. B.Ed) at selected central and state universities and institutions, including some IITs, NITs, Regional Institutes of Education and government colleges. Qualifying NCET is mandatory for ITEP admission.
- Who can sit
- Class 12 (or equivalent) passed or appearing. Each participating institution sets its own marks rule; many ask for 50% aggregate in Class 12. Check the institution-wise eligibility list NTA publishes each year.
- Pattern
- Computer-based test. You take Teaching Aptitude, a General Test, two languages (Language 1 and Language 2) and three domain subjects chosen to match the ITEP stream you want.
- When
- Applications usually in February–March; the test in April; results around June.
- Limits
- No attempt limit known; age rules, if any, are set by the admitting institution.
