Know this. Mathematics carries 600 of 1,000 marks, so a B.Sc or BCA student without solid Class 12–level maths will struggle regardless of computer knowledge.

- A three-year (or longer) undergraduate degree with Mathematics or Statistics as a subject, or a B.E./B.Tech, with at least 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point scale (55% or 6.0 CGPA for SC, ST and PwD). Final-year students may apply subject to the brochure's conditions.
- Pattern
- Computer-based test, 2 hours, 120 MCQs in three timed parts that cannot be revisited: Part I Mathematics, 50 questions in 70 minutes (+12/-3); Part II Analytical Ability and Logical Reasoning, 40 questions in 30 minutes (+6/-1.5); Part III Computer Awareness 20 questions (+6/-1.5) and General English 10 questions (+4/-1) in 20 minutes. Zero or negative marks in Mathematics or overall disqualifies you.
