- Group C central government posts for Class 12 pass candidates: Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) at Pay Level 2, and Data Entry Operator (DEO) at Pay Levels 4 and 5.
- Who can sit
- Class 12 (or equivalent) pass; DEO posts in the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, SSC and the Ministry of Culture need Class 12 in Science with Mathematics. Students who have appeared in Class 12 may apply if they pass by the cut-off date. Age 18–27 on 1 August of the exam year, with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC, and more for PwBD and ex-servicemen.
- Pattern
- Two computer-based tiers. Tier I: 100 questions, 200 marks, 60 minutes, in English Language, General Intelligence, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness (25 each, sectional timers), 0.50 negative marking. Tier II: Mathematical Abilities and Reasoning, English and General Awareness, plus a qualifying Computer Knowledge module and a skill/typing test (typing for LDC/JSA, data entry speed for DEO).

- Notification around April–May; Tier I usually between July and September; Tier II later in the year.
- Limits
- No attempt limit; age 18–27 with category relaxations.
