About the author: The poem 'Thodi Dharti Paun' is written by Bhawani Prasad Mishra, a famous Hindi poet of the Gandhian tradition. Born in 1913 in the Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh, he is known for his simple, conversational and natural style of poetry.
